HEIDI BURTON ILLUSTRATION
About me
Hello! I'm Heidi Burton, a British-Finnish illustrator living and working in Cambridge, UK.
I studied a BA (Hons) in Illustration at KIAD and a MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
I’ve recently been living my childhood dream of being a detective by writing about crime in both picturebook form (Grace is on the Case), and my MA dissertation: ‘Once upon a crime - exploring the boundaries and suitability of crime themes in children’s literature’.
My most recent book projects - A Friend at Fable Hill and The Neurodivergent Diaries stem from my lived experience of autism and ADHD.
